(Answer) There are several methods to report crime to the East Hartford Police Department. Use the numbers below that best suit the situation. If you must remain anonymous, use the EHPD CRIME TIP LINE for matters that are not an emergency or do not require immediate attention. If you feel you can be helpful in an investigation, or wish to provide information of ongoing criminal activity you know about, consider calling the Criminal Investigations Bureau directly and speaking to a detective. In order to help qualify your information you will be encouraged to identify yourself, but you are under no obligation do so. Your assistance will be appreciated.
