Boat Launch: The Great River Park Boat Launch is open Monday through Friday, 3:00 – 8:00PM; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00AM – 8:00PM. (May 1 to September 30). Closed for Riverfest from July 10, 8:00 PM until Sunday July 12, 2009 at 8:00AM. Seasonal permits for residents are available free. Non-residents season permits are $40.00. A driver’s license and boat registration must be presented at the Parks & Recreation office to obtain a season permit. The daily fee for those without permits is $15.00 for residents and
non-residents.
Ballfields: May 4- August 27, residents may obtain a permit to use softball and baseball fields at the Parks & Recreation office. Proper I.D. is required when obtaining a permit. Cost: $5.00 for two hours.
Picnic Areas: Picnic Permits may be obtained for Foran, McAuliffe, Goodwin Gorman, Hockanum, Labor or Martin parks. Permits will be granted with presentation of a picture I.D. (Driver’s License) at the Parks & Recreation office. The picnic season runs May 16 – September 20. Cost: Residents $30.00 Non-Resident $100.00 reservation fee for 4 hours.
