The Public Hearing for the State of Connecticut “Neighborhood Assistance Act – 2009” was called to order by Grants Administrator Mary G. Martin at 6:02 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in the 2nd Floor Conference Room (B) of the East Hartford Town Hall, 740 Main Street.
Ms. Martin read the Legal Notice (attached) to those in attendance, announcing the availability of the program to non-profits and municipal agencies and the date of this Public Hearing. A brief description of the thirteen (13) proposals was read and copies were made available for inspection.
A summary of the thirteen proposals is attached.
Ms. Martin noted that there were no applicants present, and asked if anyone from the general public wanted to ask a question or make a comment. There were none. She then stated that these proposals would be presented to the East Hartford Town Council for approval at their June 2, 2009 meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall. After approval, proposals will be forwarded to the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services for consideration for inclusion in their Neighborhood Assistance Act tax credit program.
There being no further business, Ms. Martin adjourned the Public Hearing at 6:06 p.m.
