The Senior Computer Learning Center's mission is to offer affordable computer classes and open the door to a wealth of information.
These classes are for people age 55 and older and are taught by people over age 55. The classroom has eight (8) computers.
Computer classes are offered at a nominal cost that includes instruction and materials. All classes are taught using a step-by-step hands-on method. Classes are small so individual assistance is available as needed during the class.
Registration dates can be found in the Golden Ager newsletter or by calling the Senior Center at 895-1517. The following classes are offered:
Introduction to Computers - Includes the Fundamentals of Computers and provides the students with an introduction to the basic information needed to operate a computer. Also reviews different features of Microsoft software.
Word Processing - Learn the basics of word processing using Microsoft Word. Requirement: Introduction to Computers or previous computer experience.
Internet/Email - We'll teach you how to navigate the Internet and use email. Learn about browsers and "surfing" the net. Requirement: Introduction to Computers or previous computer experience.

If you have computer skills and want to share them, call the Senior Center at 895-1517. Instructors and assistants are needed.
