Meeting started at 2:15 P.M. in the East Hartford Town Hall
Second floor Conference Room “B”

Sign Application – 1022 Burnside Ave, Installation of ground sign, wall sign and canopy sign to an existing commercial building.

It was the consensus of the Committee to place this item on next weeks agenda pending information on the proposed light levels of the sign.

Sign Application – 121 Prestige Park Circle, Installation of one wall sign to an existing industrial building.
“Northrop Grumman Adaptive Optics Associates”
Applicant: Express Sign & Graphics

Upon a motion by Denise Horan, seconded by Gary Zalucki it was voted unanimously to approve the application as submitted.

Site Plan Application – 363 Roberts Street A.K.A Holiday Inn, Façade renovation and new signs to an existing hotel.
Applicant: GlobalTech Design, LLC

It was the consensus of the Committee to place this item on next weeks agenda pending revised plans.

Site Plan Application – 22 Prestige Park Circle, Installation of a new Handicapped ramp, replacement of exterior door and rebuilding of an exterior platform and stairs to an existing industrial building.
Applicant: Dan Lyman Russell

Upon a motion by Denise Horan, seconded by Gary Zalucki, it was voted unanimously to recommend approval of the application. As a result, it will be forwarded to the Town Planning and Zoning Commission for final action with the following condition:

•       In evaluating this application, the Planning and Zoning Commission has relied upon information provided by the applicant and, if such information subsequently proves to be false, deceptive, incomplete, and/or inaccurate, this permit shall be modified, suspended or revoked.
•       Comply with all Engineering Department Comments.

Site Plan Application – 1083 Burnside Avenue, Demolition of an existing automobile filling station and canopy.
Applicant: Brian McCann, Kleinfelder

Applicant not present for agenda item. Application not discussed. No votes taken
